Stone Valley Arts welcomes people of all ages and levels of experience to participate
in our visual art, music, theater, dance and literary arts programming. SVA believes that the arts bring vitality to our community, support conversation, build relationships and collaborations,
help to define local identity and enhance overall quality of life.

"I have come to believe it is important to be part of something bigger than the self. The preservation and repurposing of this historic building built in 1822 is one part of that "something. The other part is an arts organization that recognizes and serves an essential human need by inspiring creativity. I am pleased to be a small part of Stone Valley Arts at Fox Hill, a public good well situated to serve the community for generations to come."

Stone Valley Arts promotes art, of course. But far more importantly, it creates a wide-ranging, interwoven community of artists. Poetry and fiction, painting and sculpture, music and dance, casual attendance and focused learning... SVA makes all of that available to our region in a way that larger places often don't.

"To pursue, create, and consume art is a part of the human experience. We all need an outlet of some form; whether visual art, movement, storytelling, or anything else you could imagine putting out into the Universe. SVA is the home where full time artists, part-time artists, and those just beginning their expression can begin."
