KIND WORDS

David Mook

"I have come to believe it is important to be part of something bigger than the self. The preservation and repurposing of this historic building built in 1822 is one part of that "something. The other part is an arts organization that recognizes and serves an essential human need by inspiring creativity. I am pleased to be a small part of Stone Valley Arts at Fox Hill, a public good well situated to serve the community for generations to come."

KIND WORDS

Dick Weis, SVA Co-Founder

"It has been such a joy to see Stone Valley Arts grow and evolve from its modest beginning. Just and idea in 2013, it has, through the efforts of so many, become an integral part of the fabric of this special place. Its programs in the visual and performing arts have drawn participants and audience from well beyond Poultney, broadening the meaning of community. I treasure SVA, its role in making community happen, and the promise it holds for the future of the area."

KIND WORDS

Martin VanBuren III, Photographer

"To pursue, create, and consume art is a part of the human experience. We all need an outlet of some form; whether visual art, movement, storytelling, or anything else you could imagine putting out into the Universe. SVA is the home where full time artists, part-time artists, and those just beginning their expression can begin."
